Cannabis Tracking and Licensing System: User Guide
HEALTH CANADA ANNOUNCEMENT: Health Canada has published instructions on how to use the Cannabis Tracking and Licensing System (CTLS) as a cannabis or industrial hemp applicant or licence holder.
The CTLS is a secure web portal where you can:
- Submit new licence applications or permits
- Manage current licences
- Report on licensed activities.
Cannabis Inspection Data Summary: 2023 - 2024
HEALTH CANADA ANNOUNCEMENT: Health Canada has published the latest inspection and compliance verification results conducted onsite of designated cannabis producers. This summary includes results for cannabis inspections conducted from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024.
A total of 662 inspections were conducted and Health Canada issued 21 non-compliant inspection reports, representing a 96.8% success rate.

HEALTH CANADA ANNOUNCEMENT: The 2024 List of Approved Cultivars (LOAC) is now available on the Health Canada website. The 2024 LOAC for industrial hemp includes the addition of Angelo, Vendetta and Citrico as new cultivars.
The next submission deadline is September 1, 2024. However, Licence Holders can submit varieties at any time of the year.

This fourth annual data report presents a summary of all domestic case reports of adverse reactions submitted to Health Canada between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022, suspected of being associated with a cannabis products.

While maintaining public health and safety objectives, the proposed amendments are meant to reduce regulatory and administrative burden for regulated parties, and support diversity and competition in the legal market.
